A phased route into the Chinese market

Test China before making a large investment.

We help Portuguese brands and SMEs assess, prepare and test the Chinese market through controlled budgets, local partners and decisions based on real data.

One route, several controlled decisions: from Portugal to China, in phases

◎Market diagnosis

▣Logistics coordination

↗Commercial test

An alternative to a blind leap

Entering China does not have to begin with a major commitment.

We first validate product fit. Only then do we move to preparation, test inventory, promotion and expansion.

Traditional model

Large investment before proof exists

  • Immediate search for an agent or distributor
  • High inventory and hard-to-reverse decisions
  • Opaque market-entry costs
  • Little learning when the project fails

Our model

Progressive decisions with limited risk

  • Paid analysis before execution investment
  • Few SKUs and controlled quantities
  • Third-party costs approved by the client
  • Data to continue, adjust or stop

The route

From the first conversation to the decision to scale.

Each phase has a purpose, a budget and a decision. The client moves forward only when the data justifies the next step.

01

Initial screening

We learn about the company, product, capacity and expectations to filter out unviable projects.

→ Diagnosis decision

02

Market diagnosis

We assess competition, price, consumer, market route and unit economics.

→ Report and recommendation

03

China readiness

We coordinate documentation, localisation, commercial materials and product-specific requirements.

→ Product ready to test

04

Controlled entry

We plan transport, test inventory and access to Chinese logistics and cross-border operators.

→ Traceable inventory

05

Commercial test

We execute the approved plan through content, e-commerce, livestream or in-person experiences.

→ Sales and real data

06

Review and scale

We compare costs, sales, returns and market response to define the next step.

→ Continue, adjust or stop

Modular services

The client buys only the phase they need.

Services are contracted by stage. Costs for laboratories, logistics, warehousing, platforms and advertising are presented separately.

Public market proof

Portuguese brands have already built a place in China.

Through different routes — local operations, distribution, e-commerce, social media and events — these examples show that Portuguese products can find customers and channels in the Chinese market.

Interactive pre-assessment

Is your product ready to be assessed?

Answer four questions. This score is indicative only; a real decision requires product analysis.

0
readiness score / 100
○

Does the brand already sell consistently in other markets?

Does the product have margin for logistics, promotion and returns?

Is the company willing to adapt price, packaging or communication?

Is there a specific budget to test the market?

Answer the questions for a preliminary indication.

Frequently asked questions

Transparency before the first decision.

Do you guarantee the product will sell in China?

No. We guarantee a structured process of analysis and testing. The goal is to produce reliable information to decide whether to continue, adjust or stop.

Is it mandatory to send a lot of stock?

No. The quantity is defined after the diagnosis and must respect a risk limit. In some cases we first recommend a test with no stock or with direct shipping.

Can all products enter through a bonded warehouse?

No. The route depends on the category, customs framework, platform rules and product requirements. This check is part of the diagnosis.

Who pays for shipping, storage and promotion?

The brand covers the costs of its product and of the approved external providers. We charge separately for analysis, preparation, coordination and operation services.

Do you buy the goods?

Not in the initial phase. The brand keeps ownership of the stock and remains the foreign seller, unless a later contract sets up a different structure.

What if the diagnosis concludes China is not recommended?

That conclusion also has value. It can avoid a larger investment and point to product changes, another channel or a more suitable market.
